Why is Hardware Australia merging with TABMA?

TABMA and Hardware Australia have forged strong ties over recent years.  They have collaborated on producing learning materials for Certificate III in Retail and, in April 2019,  HA signed a service level agreement with TABMA for TABMA to provide executive officer, events management, and accounting services to HA. When looking for a similar association, the directors of HA went through a process to review the fit of 2 associations and it was decided that TABMA had the best understanding of the member's needs and could provide the increased services the directors were looking for.

What additional services can TABMA provide to HA members?

Networking events, conferences, and awards dinners will continue with the combined membership base which will provide a wider networking base and discussion of topical themes. In addition, TABMA offers other services to its members which include but are not limited to the Provision of apprentices to skill the industry and ensure the emergence of future leaders, Tailored training in both formal qualifications and short courses, audit and reporting to mitigate this significant risk

What will the new association be called?
