Thursday 28, May 2026

Excitement is building across the timber and hardware industry as the 2026 Queensland Timber & Hardware Industry Awards nears a sell-out event, while nominations continue to surge for the 2026 New South Wales & ACT Timber & Hardware Industry Awards.

NTHA CEO David Little said the awards shine a spotlight on the outstanding dedication, innovation and leadership happening throughout the sector.

“These awards celebrate the very best of our industry,” Mr Little said. “From retailers and suppliers to apprentices, trainees and emerging leaders, these events recognise the people making a real impact every day.”

The Queensland Timber & Hardware Industry Awards will take place on Friday 18 July at Rydges South Bank, with tickets selling fast and final sponsorship opportunities now limited.

The awards will recognise excellence across 18 categories, including Retail Store of the Year, Best Off-Site Manufacturing Award, Supplier of the Year and Trainee/Apprentice/Student of the Year. Book tickets here before they sell out.

Meanwhile, nominations remain open for the NSW & ACT Awards, with industry members encouraged to recognise outstanding teams, businesses and individuals making their mark across timber and hardware.

The NSW & ACT celebration will bring together merchants, manufacturers and suppliers at Doltone House Hyde Park on Friday, September 4, for a prestigious night celebrating achievement across the sector.

“A nomination can have an enormous impact,” Mr Little said. “It boosts morale, strengthens business reputation and recognises the hard work happening behind the scenes every day.”

Businesses considering sponsorship opportunities are encouraged to act quickly, with remaining packages expected to close soon. Nominate today

Nominations for the NSW & ACT Awards and Queensland ticket sales officially close Tuesday 30 June.
